MIHS Observes Red Ribbon Week October 23rd - 27th

The national theme for Red Ribbon week this year is "Be Kind to Your Mind. Live Drug Free." We will celebrate at the high school the week of October 23rd - 27th  and at Bobby Barrett Elementary Oct. 30th  -Nov. 3rd

The RAAD Coalition will provide a video of our own students called "Why I Rise Above Alcohol and Drugs." The video is composed of short interviews recorded last year.

Students will keep journals during the week based on drug awareness information provided during enrichment time. We want our Mount Ida students to think about the damage that drugs can cause to not only their bodies, but also their minds and make a decison to LIVE DRUG FREE!!!
